Cheesecake + Brownies + Ganache = Nirvana


Deb at Smitten Kitchen just reworked Susan Purdy's recipe for brownie mosaic cheesecake originally published in A Piece of Cake. You cut up little cubes of brownies and fold them into a cheesecake batter, then pour it all into a chocolate cookie crust. To cover up the inevitable cracks, you top it with chocolate ganache.

I haven't been this excited about a new cheesecake recipe since winter 2003 when I found a bootlegged recipe online for The Cheesecake Factory's Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake.
